A Pokémon/Digimon X Final Fantasy inspired game

Dear gamers, 

Welcome to the great mysterious Crystal World! If you’re reading this, congratulations! You finally have an opportunity to uncover a secret the world hides from you… Long time ago, a long-running battle between the good and evil king Crystal Monsters occurred. A evil mastermind plans to use a secret that could destroy the world! Now, you will begin a new adventure in a new world with a…. four-legged spider?! Well, not all spiders are scary. You think that’s something you don’t usually see every day? Then immerse yourself into a deep adventure as you uncover the shocking hidden secrets the Crystal World tries to hide from you!  Travel through time, enter tournaments, and …find love! (Roaracryst, is that necessary?!) Collect the 5 medals, and save the Crystal World, and innocent lives, by uncovering the truth, and become the World Champion!

 From your new friends, Roaracryst, Ninecoat, Plantmore, and Mouselette!

This game is compatible with the original DMG, Game Boy Color, and Super Game Boy. Just place the ROM on a flash cart or your emulator machine of choice and start playing.

Background 

Crystal Monsters, the English adaptation and “localization” of Daifushigi Crystal World, is not only my first made Game Boy Studio game, but based on a fanon wiki project that I made real. However, even though I liked the font, I had to rewrite many lines of the game to English due to font size and name lengths, and tried to keep the main idea of them to the original.

Grrr! And what are these “tips”?

• To light up dark places, use BATTERY.
• Be sure to save before exiting the game. If you lose a battle, you will have to start over from the beginning.
•  This is my first Game Boy Studio piece!
• To get started, head east to the other town to the dojo!
• Use the Salves wisely and thoughtfully.
